Apart from one table, this is bar seating (not like the photos), but the food and service were excellent. Based on other Google reviews, we went for one Lamb and one Chicken Shawarma, and they were absolutely knockout—so moist with perfectly crispy ends. The fresh salad and spicy rice complemented the meal perfectly. Highly recommend coming here for a reasonably priced, large portion of Shawarma!

Vera Cruz Lebanese Grill is a Brixton staple. It’s been here for over 50 years. The owner and staff aré incredibly professional and swift. The take away is always hot and on time. The food is halal and delicious. A MUST visit in Brixton! BEST BONE IN WINGS AND BONELESS CHICKEN IN TOWN!

This is an unassuming little Lebanese Grill. I was craving falafel, I had the vegan meal, it was fantastic!The atmosphere was great with the grill smoking away with fresh chicken thighs being cooked. The chef at the front couldn't do enough for customers. There was a second kitchen to the rear preparing all the fresh vegetables and dips.The service was great they were very patient and friendly.I will be returning and will recommend this! LP

Incredibly sweet guys at the shop. Cordial to regulars, newcomers, and delivery drivers alike, from what I saw in the few minutes I was there.They very thoughtfully asked if I was fasting and gave me a couple of dates for iftar too.Small places like these are the beating heart of the community. This was my first time here, definitely won't be my last :))

From service to food, this was a beautiful experience. The plate came stacked — sauce layered at the base and again on a mountain of juicy chicken. So underrated! I’ve already recommended it to my friends and locals. Will post on all platforms soon. Sturdy cutlery, free complimentary sauce, and salad tailored to your taste.
